Faith Nights with the Fort Worth Cats The last of three Faith Nights with the Fort Worth Cats that Texas Wesleyan has been co-sponsoring will be Saturday, August 19. Mainstay will perform a pre-game concert at 5 p.m. and the game, versus the Sioux City Explorers, begins at 7:05 p.m. Free tickets are available through the Office of Admission. The Faith Nights, which feature a Christian music concert before the game, have been an opportunity for Texas Wesleyan to reach out to the community, notes Admission Counselor Chad Mills. “It’s another way to reach students, to bring awareness of Texas Wesleyan into the community.” Previous Faith Nights, held June 16 and July 15, featured Shaun Groves and The Robbie Seay Band in pre-game concerts. Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato from VeggieTales have also made appearances. One of the star players for the Cats is third baseman Terence Green, BS '05.
