THEATRE WESLEYAN PRESENTS "THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED)"

Cast of playTheatre Wesleyan presents the first production in the 2006-2007 season, "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)." The show will be at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28-30 and Oct. 4-5, and 2 p.m. Oct. 1 in the Law Sone Fine Arts Center, 1205 Binkley.

"The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" is a parody of the comedies and tragedies written by the Bard. Three actors recreate unusual versions of 37 plays in an “abridged” form with a performance time of approximately 98 minutes.

Written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer & Jess Winfield, the production will be directed by Connie Whitt-Lambert, professor of theatre and chair of the theatre department, with technical direction by Bryan Stevenson, assistant professor of theatre.

Ticket Prices: general admission, $8; Wesleyan faculty/staff, $6; all students w/ID, $4; senior citizens, $4. The box office will open Tuesday, Sept. 26.
