If you’re ready to step above the status quo, we’re ready to help you do it. With an MBA from Texas Wesleyan, you’ll gain the confidence to step up and out by taking on new responsibilities and continuing up the ladder. Designed to provide working professionals with a way to balance family, career and school, the MBA program offers evening and weekend classes to fit your busy schedule. This practice-oriented, quality program provides a breadth of business knowledge, taking into account your personal objectives.

Solid Skill Development

With a Wesleyan MBA, you’ll have the hard skills required to get ahead in today’s world (economics, finance, accounting, operations, management and marketing), but you’ll also have the soft skills required to truly lead and succeed (leadership, teamwork, ethics and communication). We will help you develop the skills to take your career to the next level and beyond.

Experienced or New to Business

Many of our MBA students come from varied academic backgrounds, some with business, some arts, others sciences — all looking to add advanced business knowledge to their tool box in order to move forward in the workplace. For those with a business undergraduate degree, the typical program is 36 hours; for those without any prior business courses, we offer condensed courses during the summer to help you attain the foundational knowledge required to succeed in graduate business courses.

Personal Connections

Building networks is a requirement for anyone in business. With small class sizes, you are able to form bonds with your classmates as well as faculty — and our faculty know you and know your capabilities — and what better way to start (or extend) your network?

Quality Faculty & Hands On Experience

Our faculty have a range of experience from government/non-profit to small business and large corporations and are able to relate to today’s economic climate and challenges. Class sizes allow for you to interact to take advantage of this knowledge, as well as participate in team-based projects with local businesses, giving you the unique opportunity to apply lessons from the classroom. Bringing concepts to life in relatable, practical terms through these projects also helps boost your resume and employability; what company would not want someone with successful, firsthand experience? Along with these projects, we also encourage our less experienced students to complete an internship with a local company as their elective course for additional real-world experience.

An MBA provides you with a number of skills that can be applied in any career field. You’ll be ready to move ahead and make your difference in the world with the knowledge and skills you gain at Wesleyan.

Visit Graduate Admissions for details on admission criteria and process as well as tuition costs and financial aid. We look forward to greeting you and having you join our Wesleyan MBA network.
