Prior to Wesleyan: Lettered two seasons for Joe Wharton at Richland College…named DIII JUCO World Series MVP in 2004…led conference in hitting freshman season with a .403 batting average.

High School:  Played for Bill Coutts in South Dakota Legion baseball where he broke the team’s home run record.
