Player Stats

2007: Appeared in 14 games, including three starts...went 2-0 with a 3.71 ERA...did not allow a run in his first seven appearances allowing just three walks and five hits while striking out seven in 11.1 IP (2/9-3/20)...after tossing a perfect inning in game one of a doubleheader against UT-Brownsville tossed three perfect innings to pick up his first win in a 7-6 victory in game two (3/9)...pitched two innings allowing no runs on two hits to pick up a conference win over SAGU (4/14).

 

Prior to Wesleyan: Lettered two seasons at Murray State University for head coach Mike McBrayer.

 

High School: Named 1st-team All-District pitcher and outfielder from 2002 to 2004 for head coach Jimmy Branum at Bells High School…named to All-Texoma team as an outfielder 2003 and 2004…named to the Denison Daily Post All-Area team in 2003 and 2004…named team MVP 2004.

 

Personal: Born Aaron Wimpee on Jan. 22, 1986, in Sherman, TX…son of Eric and Dana Wimpee…has one sister, Erica Lashley…majoring in exercise science.
