Player Stats

2007-08: Started 31 of 32 games in his first season with the Rams...named Honorable Mention All-Conference after ranking second on the team in scoring at 13.1 points per game...ranked fourth in the conference with 2.22 three’s made per game...led the team in minutes (32/g), field goals (138), three’s (71), free throw percentage (.761), and steals (36)...made at least one three in 29 of 32 games played...reached double-figures in scoring 24 times and poured in 20 or more on five occasions...named RRAC Player of the Week after scoring 20 points in a win over Oklahoma Wesleyan (12/10), 19 in a win over Belhaven (12/14), and adding 16 in a loss to LSU-Shreveport (12/15)...named RRAC Player of the Week again after scoring 14, including the game-winning tip at the buzzer, in a win at Langston (2/4) and scoring 24 in a win over Texas College (2/9)...scored a career-high 26 while hitting 7-of-13 from beyond the arc, dishing out nine assists, and grabbing six boards in an RRAC Tournament win over Bacone (3/6)...scored 14 points in the Rams’ National Tournament loss to McKendree (3/20).

 

Prior to Wesleyan: An All-Texas Eastern Conference selection for head coach Pat Smith at Trinity Valley Community College...led the Cardinals to 18 wins as a sophomore.

 

Prep: Played for Lonnie Gaylor at Waxahachie High School where he was a three-time All-District Selection...named District MVP and 2nd-team All-State as a senior.

 

Personal: Born Kennith Gober on Oct. 25, 1985, in Waxahachie, TX...son of Kenny Gober and Penny Veston...is majoring in business.
