     SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - Amber Apracio scored in the second overtime to defeat Texas Wesleyan, 2-1, Saturday afternoon in regional action.

     Texas Wesleyan (2-3-1) started out fast, when sophomore Nichole Richardson scored 22 seconds into the game on an assist from junior Jessica Carrion.

     John Brown (5-0-1) countered with a goal in the 37th minute by Ondell Williams. The two teams battled back and forth until Apracio's goal in the second overtime.

     "We really played well today," head coach Steve Jones said. "The girls gave a good effort and just came up short. You really hate to lose in a game like this one."

     Texas Wesleyan returns to action Friday when they host Southern Nazarene at Martin Field. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. The Lady Rams defeated the Crimson Storm last season, 2-0, in Bethany, Okla.
