     FORT WORTH, Texas - Senior Tiffany Porterfield tallied 12 kills and six blocks to lead Texas Wesleyan over Southern Nazarene, 3-0, Tuesday evening at the Sid Richardson Gymnasium.
Texas Wesleyan (8-2) dominated the Crimson Storm (5-5), winning in three straight games, 30-16, 30-18, 30-17.

     Junior Rachel Loftin and senior Becca Broussard both had 10 kills for the Lady Rams, while freshman Sandra Ayala chipped in with six kills. Senior Nicky Davis registered five kills for Texas Wesleyan. Senior Cortney Johansen was leader in assists with 38, and also added five digs. Junior Susan Taylor led all players with 15 digs. Broussard also tallied three aces.

     "The girls really stepped up their play tonight," head coach Rick Johansen said. "It was great to get our first home victory under our belt. We need to string some victories together."

     Texas Wesleyan returns to action Friday when it hosts Howard Payne. First-serve is set for 7 p.m. at the Sid Richardson Gymnasium.
