     FORT WORTH, Texas - Sophomore Rachel Loftin tallied 14 kills and four blocks to lead Texas Wesleyan past Howard Payne, 3-0, Friday evening at the Sid Richardson Gymnasium.

     Texas Wesleyan (9-2) dominated Howard Payne, 30-18, 30-17, 30-23, to win its third straight match.

     Also leading the way for Texas Wesleyan were senior Becca Broussard with 12kills, senior Nicky David and freshman Sandra Ayala who both had 10 kills. Senior Cortney Johansen led the Lady Rams with 42 assists, while junior Susan Taylor registered a team-high 15 digs and two service aces. Broussard also had 11 digs while Ayala chipped in with 10.

     For Howard Payne (2-9), Katie Pruess totaled six kills, while Amary Pitts had 15 digs. Tiffany Gilliam finished the evening with 20 assists.

     Texas Wesleyan returns to action Saturday when they travel to take on conference-rival Bacone College. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
