FORT WORTH, Texas - Sophomore Nichole Richardson was named Red River Athletic Conference co-player of the week by the conference office Monday morning.

     Richardson, a sophomore midfielder from Mansfield, Texas, recorded two goals in Texas Wesleyan's only match of the week, a 6-0 win over Southern Nazarene University (Okla.). The victory lifted the Lady Rams to 3-3-1 on the season with a 2-1-1 mark against Sooner Athletic Conference teams. Richardson has five goals and four assists in seven matches.

     "Nichole has come on strong the last few weeks," head coach Steve Jones said. "We have moved her from forward to the midfield and it has worked out beautifully for us. She is able to use the vision that she possess."

     Texas Wesleyan returns to action Friday when they travel to take on St. Gregory's in Chickasha, Okla. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m.
