     FORT WORTH, Texas - The Texas Wesleyan volleyball team swept both games of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the Sid Richardson Gymnasium. The Lady Rams defeated Bacone College, 3-0, and then swept Wiley College, 3-0.

     Texas Wesleyan (23-3, 12-2 RRAC) defeated the Lady Warriors, 30-9, 30-12, 30-18, and then defeated the Lady Wildcats, 30-12, 30-13, 30-24.

     Senior Cortney Johansen dished out 62 assists on the day, as junior Susan Taylor racked up 41 digs and six service aces. Senior Tiffany Porterfield tallied 13 kills and eight blocks, while junior Rachel Loftin pounded out 24 kills.

     Texas Wesleyan returns to action Tuesday when they host conference-rival Paul Quinn. First serve is set for 7 p.m. at the Sid Richardson Gymnasium. The Lady Rams defeated Paul Quinn on Oct. 5, defeating the Lady Tigers, 3-0, in Dallas.
