The Texas Wesleyan women's soccer team dropped a pair of Red River Conference
matches this weekend, falling to College of the Southwest, 2-1, on Friday, and
UT-Permian Basin, 1-0, on Saturday afternoon.
Texas
Wesleyan (6-7-2) started the weekend off with a loss to the defending regular
season champion Lady Mustangs in Hobbs, N.M.
Freshman
Stefanie Blowers scored the only goal for the Lady Rams, getting an assist from
both junior Leslie Tabor and freshman Loren Clark.
In
the loss to the Lady Falcons, the Lady Rams never could get any offense going
as they fell for the second straight day.
Texas
Wesleyan returns to action Wednesday when they host conference-rival Northwood
in its regular-season finale. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Martin Field. The Lady
Rams lost 3-1 last season to the Lady Knight in Cedar Hill, Texas.
