Texas - Senior Becca Broussard tallied six kills and eight digs to lead Texas
Wesleyan past Southwestern Assemblies of God, 3-0, Tuesday evening in Red River
Conference action.

Wesleyan (27-3, 14-2 RRAC) defeated the Lady Lions, 30-12, 30-15, 30-19, for its
14th straight victory.
"Our girls kept
their intensity up for all three games," head coach Rick Johansen said. "We
have been working on that all week during practice, and they really put it to
work this evening. This next game will be difficult, because Texas Women's played
us tough at their home court."
Senior
Cortney Johansen had 21 assists, while freshman Lauren Weems added nine digs.
Senior Tiffany Porterfield, junior Rachel Loftin and freshman Sandra Ayala all
totaled seven kills.
Texas Wesleyan returns
to action Tuesday when they host Texas Women's. The evening has been deemed "Parent's
Night". First serve is set for 7 p.m. at the Sid Richardson Gymnasium. The
Lady Rams defeated Texas Women's on Oct. 21, defeating the Lady Pioneers, 3-0,
in Denton. .
