     FORT WORTH, Texas - Senior Tiffany Porterfield tallied 17 kills and seven blocks to lead Texas Wesleyan past Texas Women's, 3-1, Tuesday evening on Senior Night at the Sid Richardson Gymnasium.

     Texas Wesleyan defeated the Pioneers, 30-21, 30-25, 23-30, 30-26, for its season-high 14th victory in a row.

     Senior Cortney Johansen dished out 48 assists and had a match-high five service aces, while junior Rachel Loftin amassed 13 kills and four blocks. Junior Susan Taylor led all players with 25 digs, with seniors Becca Broussard and Kat Williams totaled 23 and 22 digs respectively.

     The Lady Rams will be back in action Friday when they host Southwestern Assemblies of God at 11 a.m. in the quarterfinals of the 2004 Red River Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament. Texas Wesleyan is hosting the two-day event at the Sid Richardson Gymnasium.
