DALLAS, Texas - Nastassia Brown of Texas Wesleyan University and Arie Wilson of Houston Baptist University (Texas) were named Red River Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Co-Players of the Week for Dec. 12-18.

     Brown, a sophomore forward from Fort Worth, Texas, made 13-of-22 shots from the field (59.1%) and 7-of-8 from the free throw line as Texas Wesleyan posted two conference wins. In an 88-68 victory over Bacone, Brown scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds. She recorded a double-double with 21 points and 13 boards in a 72-56 defeat of TAMIU. Brown has a shooting percentage of 55.0% for the season, connecting on 33-of-60 field goals. The Lady Rams improved to 4-1 in the conference and 6-5 against all opponents.

     Texas Wesleyan will be back in action December 29th when they host Avila University. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Sid Richardson Gymnasium.
