The Lady Rams used a combination of excellent pitching and a powerful offense to sweep a Wednesday softball doubleheader against LeTourneau University.

Monica Barrilleaux led the charge on both fronts, hammering out five hits in six at bats, including two doubles and a home run. She also pitched a complete game two-hitter, limiting the Lady Yellowjackets to one run in the second game.

Amanda Kashuba pitched the first game for Wesleyan and allowed one run on four hits, striking out nine. Jennifer Perez hit two doubles on the day, and Kashuba added another as the Lady Rams won 7-1 and 9-1.

The Lady Rams are now 10-15 on the season, and return to action this Friday at home against conference rival Bacone College.

Game 2 Texas Wesleyan Senior Pitcher Monica Barrilleaux pitched the complete game allowing only 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 4. Barrilleaux and went 2 for 3 with 1 double and 1 homerun. TW Freshman Jennifer Perez went 2 for 3 with 1 single 1 double 1 run scored and 3 RBI's.
