The Lady Rams Are Poised For A
Championship Run Next Season

The Texas Wesleyan University Women's softball team will be holding open tryouts at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17 & May 24, at Sycamore Park.

Girls who are interested in Texas Wesleyan and softball are encouraged to try out for the team. Texas Wesleyan competes in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics).

Players who intend on trying out should arrive early in order to register. Also, it will be necessary for catchers to bring their own equipment, if available, as only a limited amount of university equipment will be on hand for participants.

The tryouts will be held at the Lady Rams home field, which is in Sycamore Park near the University. Take I-30 into Fort Worth and exit Beach street. Travel south on Beach street until you get to Rosedale. Turn right (west) on Rosedale and go about one-fourth of a block and turn right into Sycamore Park. The softball field is behind the baseball field.
