FORT WORTH, Texas - Sophomore
Jessica Carrion's scored her 26th goal of the season in the 35th
minute to break the school record for goals in a season and lead
Texas Wesleyan past Manhattan Christian College, 14-0, Saturday
afternoon at Martin Field.
The record was broken on Carrion's fourth
goal of the game, as she scored all four of them in the first half
to give the Lady Rams a 8-0 lead at halftime.
Texas Wesleyan (9-7) outshot the Lady Crusaders
38-2.
Junior Jessica Elder had three goals on
the day. Sophomore Katrina Fishback made a rare appearance in the
field and scored a hat trick in the last fifteen minutes of play.
Also scoring goals for Texas Wesleyan were
Allison Enrriques, Heather Fowler, Jessica Killen and Melody Overland,
who all scored one a piece.
Texas Wesleyan returns to action Wednesday
when they travel to take on conference-foe Northwood University
at 1 p.m. in Cedar Hill.
