- Rachel Loftin had 18 kills to lead Texas Wesleyan over Paul Quinn, 30-15, 30-9, 30-7, Friday evening at the Sid Richardson Gymnasium.

In game two, Texas Wesleyan jumped to an early 12-2 lead and never looked back on its way to a 30-9 game-two victory.

Game three was much of the same, as the Lady Rams dominated, 30-7, on the strength of five kills from freshman Lacey Ford.

"The girls played almost perfect tonight," head coach Rick Johansen said. "Hopefully we can carry this momentum into the conference tournament."

Junior Tiffany Porterfield chipped in eight kills and four blocks while junior Cortney Johansen dished out 39 assists.

The Lady Rams will be back in action Friday, Nov. 14 when they take part in the Red River Conference Tournament, hosted by Houston Baptist. The Lady Rams receive a bye into the semifinal round. Their opponent has yet to be determined.
