Rams ranked
fourth in the nation

WORTH, Texas - The Texas Wesleyan golf team is ranked fourth in
the nation in theNAIA Men's Golf Preseason Ratings released Monday
by the national office.
"It is great to get recognized by other
coaches," head coach Kevin Millikan said. "We need to keep
doing the things we have been doing to get to where we need to be."
Texas Wesleyan had a brilliant fall season,
which included a first-place finish at the Oklahoma Christian Invitational.
The Rams also finished third at the Northeastern State University
Classic. That event featured a field that was predominately NCAA Division
II schools.
"We have had a very productive fall,"
Millikan said. "We have yet to play our best golf."
The Rams will open the 2004 spring season
at the Pfeiffer/Pine Needles Inviatational. The two-day event will
take place March 1-2.
