LADY RAMS SIGN GRAPEVINE STANDOUT

FORT WORTH, TX:  Jennifer Irwin, a standout volleyball player at Grapevine High School, signed a letter of intent to attend Texas Wesleyan University on Tuesday.

Irwin was a two-time All-District and three-time Academic All-District performer at GHS.  She helped lead the Mustangs to District Championships in her sophomore and senior seasons, and also received the “G” award given to the top senior.

An honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Irwin plans on majoring in Communications.

She is the daughter of David and Leslie Irwin and has one brother, Chris, and one sister, Lindsey.

The Lady Rams hope that Irwin will be an integral part of a 2006 team that looks to continue the school’s recent success.  The Lady Rams have made back-to-back appearances in the NAIA Elite Eight.
