That recent performance pushed Texas Wesleyan to 12th in the latest national poll, up from 13th last week.
Johansen led the way with 36 assists and 10 digs against Mid-America Christian, 39 assists against CSW, and she posted 38 assists and 10 digs to defeat University of Texas of the Permian Basin. In all, she had 145 assists and 30 digs on the week.
Taylor had dig totals of 11, 18, 19 and 18 in the three matches for a total of 66 on the week. She also managed to avoid having a single receiving error in 32 receiving attempts. Taylor leads the RRAC with 6.23 digs per game.
Texas Wesleyan will return to the court on Saturday when they host Bacone College in an RRAC match. That match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Sid Richardson Center. |
