THREE LADY RAMS NAMED ALL-RRAC
March 4, 2007

FORT WORTH, TX:  Three members of the Texas Wesleyan University women’s basketball team were named All-Red River Athletic Conference for their performance this season.  Nastassia Brown was named to the 1st-team while Keegan Harry and Pilar Pinkus were honorable mention selections.

Brown, a senior forward from Fort Worth, TX, made a tremendous comeback after missing last season due to injury.  She earned 1st-team honors in 2004-05, and returned this season to do the same.  This year, she led the Lady Rams in scoring (11.5/g), rebounding (7.6/g), steals (62), and blocks (28), while ranking second in field goal shooting (.435) and fourth in assists (38).  Her seven double-doubles this season gave her 16 in her three-year career at Texas Wesleyan.

Keegan Harry, a junior center from Godley, TX, earned Honorable Mention honors in her first season with the Lady Rams.  Harry led the Lady Rams with her 43.8% field goal shooting while ranking second with 123 rebounds.  She scored a season-high 16 points against Tabor College and just missed a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds against Bacone.

In her second season at Texas Wesleyan, Pilar Pinkus, a senior forward from Cedar Park, TX, also earned an Honorable Mention selection.  The Lady Rams’ super-sub played in 28 games, coming off the bench in 27 of them.  She averaged 6.7 points and 4 rebounds per game.  She led the Rams in scoring twice and in rebounding three times.

The Lady Rams finished the season with a 12-18 record, and a 9-9 mark in conference play.
