Molinar, a junior outfielder from Fort Worth, TX, was 5-for-10 at the plate with two doubles, five runs scored and three RBIs as TWU went 2-2 last week. She collected all of her RBI in the first game of a double-header with Park, going 2-for-3 as the Lady Rams collected a 9-1 victory. Molinar was 2-for-2 in the second game with a run scored as the Lady Rams won again, 6-1. She also walked four times and stole three bases in as many tries on the week.
Mesa, a junior second baseman from Arlington, TX, hit in each game, going 9-for-18 at the plate, as Northwood went 6-0 last week. The Lady Rams are 5-16 overall and 0-4 in conference play. They return to action on Wednesday when they host Dordt College. That doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. at Sycamore Park. |
FORT WORTH, TX: Texas Wesleyan University’s Lindsey Molinar has been selected as Red River Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week for the period of March 12-18.
