MARSHALL, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University men’s soccer team (2-6-2) suffered a 4-0 loss at the hands of East Texas Baptist University (6-5) on Friday.
East Texas Baptist led 2-0 at the half and went on to the 4-0 win.
Head coach Josh Gibbs was disappointed with the effort. “We are underachieving right now,” Gibbs said. “It’s disappointing because they are a better team than this.” The Rams return to action immediately. They travel to Texas College on Saturday. That Red River Athletic Conference game is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.
