LADY RAMS BREEZE PAST BULLDOGS

FORT WORTH, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University women’s volleyball team (15-7, 5-2 RRAC) needed just 53 minutes to take a 3-0 win over Jarvis Christian College (2-14, 0-7) at the Sid Richardson Center on Friday.

The Rams led throughout the match.  In game one, they used a 13-0 run on their way to a 30-5 win.  In game two it was a 17-0 run that led to a 30-5 win, and in game three they were able to cruise to a 30-13 win.

Sandra Ayla led the team with 14 kills while Erinn Miller finished with 13 of her own.  Jennifer Irwin and Jazmin Ayala had 19 and 18 assists respectively.  Jessica Colliau tallied a team-high nine digs.

The Lady Rams return to Red River Athletic Conference action on Saturday with a day-night doubleheader.  They will travel to Marshall, TX, to take on Wiley College at 11:00 a.m.  They will then travel to Tyler, TX, to take on Texas College at 4:00 p.m.
