RAMS NINTH AFTER ONE ROUND

EDMOND, OK:  The Texas Wesleyan University men’s golf team opened with a round of 311 in their final tournament of the fall semester.  That score was good for 9th position at the Sleep Inn & Suites Classic hosted by Oklahoma Christian University at Coffee Creek Golf Course.

With a steady wind out of the south, the hosting Eagles lead the field of 24 teams with a card of 286 that was paced by Rhein Gibson’s score of 68, which leads all individuals.

Mitch Hendon led the Rams with a score of 76.  Ryan Stephens and Justin Smith followed at 77.  KeeDae Lee scored 81 and Will Woodring shot 85 to round out Texas Wesleyan’s card.
