MUSKOGEE, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University baseball team took a decisive victory from Bacone College this afternoon, defeating the Warriors 17-2.
Brandon Frazier set the tone in the top of the first inning with a solo home run.
It only got better from there as the Rams crushed the ball, stringing together 15 hits in the contest.
Blake Walker and Antoine Cole also went yard in the win.
Zach Smith had a solid performance as he went 2-2 with a double, a single, two walks and three runs batted in.
Bacone College’s Rick Sample suffered the loss for the Warriors, while Jayson Rachuig took the win with two runs, seven hits, and six strike outs through seven innings of work. The Rams are set for the second round of this conference series, as they take on Bacone again tomorrow in a double header. Game one set to start at noon in Muskogee, OK.
