RAMS FINISH FOURTH AT OC

EDMOND, OK:  The Texas Wesleyan University men’s golf team finished fourth at Oklahoma Christian University’s Sleep Inn & Suites Classic at River Oaks Golf Course.

The Rams shot 301 in Tuesday’s final round to finish at 914.  Mitch Hendon shot a round of 76 and finished tied for third at 220.  Hendon’s performance marked his fifth top-five finish of the season.  Armando Villarreal also finished in the top-20.  Villarreal tied for 17th at 228.

Oklahoma Christian backed up their #1 National Ranking by winning the tournament at 895.  The Ealges’ Bruno Buccolo shot a final round 70 to take the individual title at 216.

Texas Wesleyan will return to action on April 14-15 at the Brickyard Classic in Indianapolis, IN.
