FORT WORTH, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University Women’s Soccer team (0-2-1) suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Oklahoma City University Lady Stars (2-0) on Saturday.

Brittany O’Brien made six saves in her first game in goal this season.  However, the Stars controlled much of the game and out shot the Rams 24-4.

OCU got on the board in the 26th minute when Sarah Leonard fed Elaine Fontes for a gaol.  Just 11 minutes later, Sarah Barnett collected a rebound in front of the net and scored the Stars second goal.

That 2-0 score stood up as Brittany Tubbs made three saves to collect the shutout victory for Oklahoma City.

The Lady Rams will return to action on Wednesday, September 5, when they travel to Denton, TX, to take on Texas Woman’s University.  That contest is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.
