Last week Mock helped the Rams to a 3-0 record, winning three matches in three different locations on Tuesday. She averaged 9 digs, three aces, and no passing errors, as the Rams topped Wiley 3-1 in Marshall, TX, the routed Jarvis Christian in Hawkins, TX, and Texas College, in Tyler, TX. Her defense continued to be solid, but her serving set her apart last week. In the three contests she turned in nine service aces including eight against Texas College (one shy of her career-high set in 2005). For the season, Texas Wesleyan stands at 16-8 overall and 5-0 in Red River Athletic Conference play. The Rams return to action this weekend as they head west. They will take on Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, TX, at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday they will travel to Lubbock Christian University (Lubbock, TX) and College of the Southwest (Hobbs, NM).

FORT WORTH, TX: Texas Wesleyan University’s Ashley Mock has been named Red River Athletic Conference Libero of the Week for the period of September 24-30. Mock has won four of the first five such awards this season.
