FORT WORTH, TX: Texas Wesleyan University’s Ashley Mock has been named Red River Athletic Conference and Region VI Volleyball Libero of the Week for the period of October 1-7. Mock has garnered the RRAC award in five of the first six weeks this season, while the Region VI award was her second of the year.
Mock racked up 82 digs during a 2-1 week for the Lady Rams. She had 37 digs and an ace in a win over Wayland Baptist and 22 digs and an ace in a win over College of the Southwest. For the season, the Lady Rams stand at 18-9 overall and 5-0 in RRAC play. They will host Paul Quinn College in a conference match on Tuesday. That match is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start in the Sid Richardson Center. |
