LADY RAMS STILL UNBEATEN AFTER 1-1 TIE |

MUSKOGEE, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University Women’s soccer team (6-5-3) remained unbeaten in Red River Athletic Conference play after earning a 1-1 draw at Bacone College (3-5-1, 2-2-1 RRAC) on Tuesday.
After battling through a scoreless first half, Bacone took a 1-0 lead in the second period. Senior captain Aubrey Rice leveled the score when she converted a penalty kick, but the Rams could not gain the advantage. The Lady Rams now stand at 3-0-1 in conference play. They return to the field on Friday when they travel to Cedar Hill, TX, to take on the Northwood University Lady Knights who sit atop the RRAC standings at 4-0. That game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start and will be followed by a men’s game. |
