DANIEL JOINS SISTER WITH LADY RAMS |
FORT WORTH, TX: Texas Wesleyan University head volleyball coach Christy Clawson announced today the signing of Burleson High School standout Christina Daniel. Daniel is the sister of current Lady Rams Rachel Daniel.
Christina was a two-time All-District selection for Coach Jill Kimball at Burleson High School. The 6-1 middle blocker was also an Academic All-District selection.
Rachel, a sophomore middle blocker in 2008, posted 191 kills and 74 blocks.
The Lady Rams finished third in the Red River Athletic Conference at 9-2 this season. They reached the semifinals of the RRAC tournament where they were defeated in a dramatic 5-game match with the eventual champion, Wiley. The team featured six All-Conference selections. |
