FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University Volleyball Team (6-21, 4-1 RRAC) won both matches today in the first day of action at the RRAC conference crossover tournament. The Lady Rams defeated UT-Browsville 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-21), and Huston-Tillotson 3-0 (25-16, 25-10, 25-17).

In the match against UT-Brownsville, Katlynn Romig led the team in digs with 15, Evoni Darling led the team in assists with 19, and Destiny Clemons led the team in kills with 9 and service aces with 3.

In the game against Huston-Tillotson, Clemons led the team in kills with 12, Emily Millican had 14 assists and 6 digs, Brittney Person had 9 kills and 4 service aces. Evoni Darling had a double double with 14 assists and 10 digs

The Sid Richardson Gymnasium was host to 10 matches on two courts today for the tournament that included a battle of undefeated teams in conference play. Southwestern Assemblies of God University (3-0 RRAC) and Wiley College (5-0 RRAC) the game went to a classic 5 games with SAGU coming out on top by scores of 25-14, 19-25, 16-25, 26-24, 16-14.

Other scores included Bacone over Texas College 3-1 (22-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-12), Huston-Tillotson over Bacone 3-1 (25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-14), UT-Brownsville over Bacone 3-1 (25-16, 25-20, 18-25, 28-26), Paul Quinn over Jarvis Christian 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-16) Paul Quinn over Texas College 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-18), SAGU over Jarvis Christian 3-0 (25-17, 25-11, 25-18), and Wiley over Paul Quinn 3-0 (25-11, 25-8, 25-22).
