FORT WORTH, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (9-23, 7-2 RRAC) cruised to a 3-0 conference win at Paul Quinn College (3-27, 2-8) on Tuesday.

The Lady Rams won with scores of 25-12, 25-14, and 25-13.

Texas Wesleyan came out hot, scoring 12 kills and making just three errors in game one for a hitting percentage of .409.  In the match they threw in 40 kills in 85 attempts for a hitting percentage of .329.  The Rams also had 15 service aces.

Destiny Clemmons led the way with nine kills while Kristen Venhuizen finished with eight.  Brittney Person had six kills including five in game three.

Evoni Darling posted 19 assists.  Emilly Millican had 10 assists and seven digs.

The Lady Rams return to the court in this weekend’s Southwestern University tournament.  They will take on Southwestern (2:00 p.m.) and the University of Dallas (4:30 p.m.) on Firday.
