2007: Named 1st-team All-Conference, 2nd-team All-Region VI, and team MVP after making 91 saves and posting a 1.54 goals against average...notched a record of 7-6-2...recorded three shutouts: made 11 saves in a 0-0 double-overtime tie at Science & Arts (9/18), made three saves in a 6-0 win at SAGU (10/6), and made three saves in a 5-0 win at Huston-Tillotson (10/14)...also contributed 72 minutes to a 6-0 shutout win over St. Gregory’s (9/14)...made a season-high 14 saves in a 3-0 loss at Texas Woman’s (9/5)...recorded an assist on the game-winning goal in the 84th minute of a 3-2 win over Mid-America Christian (9/7)...named RRAC Defensive Player of the Week on two occasions.

 

2006: Started 16-of-17 games for the Lady Rams...named 2nd-team All-RRAC...received the Coaches’ Award...held a 9-7 record in her first season with the Rams...posted three complete game shutouts including shutouts against Bacone and Houston Baptist in the RRAC semifinals and final respectively...led team to a school record six consecutive shutout wins...posted a season-high 16 saves at Midwestern State (10/5)...ranked fourth in the conference with 88 saves and third with a 1.08 goals against average.

 

Prior to Wesleyan: Posted a 5-3-1 record and a 0.97 goals against average at Drury University under head coach Christopher Baker...helped Drury to a 7-8-2 record overall.

 

Prep: A four-year letter winner for Jay Fitzgerald at Nolan Catholic High School...helped team to the state finals in all four years...named 1st-team All-District and 1st-team All-State.

 

Personal: Born Brittany Lee O'Brien, Oct. 1, 1987, in Fort Worth, TX…daughter of George O'Brien and Brenda Zimmermann…has two sisters, Leesa and Jaclyn, and one brother, Parker…is majoring in business.
