Player Stats

2008: Played in 35 games, including 30 starts as a freshman...hit .442 in 86 AB's...held a .449 OBP and ranked fourth on the team with 10 stolen bases...had 13 multi-hit and six multi-RBI games...tied the school record for hits in a game by going 5-for-6 with 2 RBI and 3 R's at Langston University (4/24-2)...was named RRAC Player of the Week after hitting .667 (20-for-30) in eight games (4/22-26)...finished the season by hitting .650 (26-for-40) with 5 2B's, 6 SB's, 10 RBI, and 18 R's while hitting safely in each of her last eleven games...hit .600 (6-for-10) in three RRAC Tournament games.

High School: A two-time team captain and four-time 1st-team All-District selection for coach James Ramsey at Pilot Point High School...also a three-time All-Area selection...named District Player of the Year and Area Defensive Player of the Year in her senior season.

Personal: Born Lateah Marie Lucero on Oct. 8, 1988, in Farmington, NM...daughter of Rowdy and Traci Patterson...has three brothers, Ethan, Casey, and Leo, and two sisters, Amber and Brittany...is undecided on major.
