What is your most memorable softball moment? In the fall of '99 I was struggling a lot because my mom had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and wasn't expected to live for very much longer. Because she wasn't able to go out of the house and watch me, she loved hearing about my weekend tournaments and especially loved it when I brought home a trophy. One particular weekend, while I was playing with the team, Speed, I hit a total of four homeruns, one of them a grand slam during the championship game. I won the MVP for our team, then I won the MVP out of the MVP's. I had 3 trophies in all! So I guess you can say it not only made my day, but also my mom's.

What is the most interesting thing about you? I'm a Christian

Who has had the most influence on your life so far and why? My dad, because he has had to go through so much after losing my mom and he still has done a wonderful job supporting and raising six kids. I couldn't have asked for anything better in a father. He's my hero.
