WebCT Login Information

Login Instructions for WebCT

  1. In your web browser, type this URL: http://atw.txwes.edu
    (press the enter key)

  2. Click on the "E-Learning (WebCT)" link in the navigation menu on the left side of the ATW homepage.

  3. You will find the "WebCT Login" button on the right side within the "Additional Resources" section.

  4. Click on the "WebCT Login" button then Click on the Log in to link on the WebCT course portal.

  5. Enter in your WebCT login and password then Click the "Log in" button.

Getting your WebCT ID

  • Your WebCT ID will be the same as your University login.  Use the following steps to find you university login then read the password instructions below for your temporary WebCT Password.

  1. Log into the university homepage at http://www.txwes.edu
  2. Click on the RamLink button within the white navigation bar in the top-left section of the homepage.
  3. Click on the Students button.
  4. Click on the "What's My User ID" button in the User Account section of the web page.
  5. Enter your last name and either your social security number OR your student ID, then press Submit

Your WebCT Password

  • New WebCT Students:
    If you are a new WebCT user your temporary password will be "1234567".  You will be required to reset the password on your first login and you can change it to any password you like.

  • Previous WebCT Students:
    If you are a returning student you password will be the same as in your previous semester.

  • Note: If you try the default password and you are not able to login, immediately contact WebCT technical assistance and get your password reset by calling 817-531-4428 (option 1) or sending an email to the following link.

Students Please Note: All of your courses may not have WebCT components. If this is the case you will not see that course available in WebCT. If you are sure that your course has a WebCT component but do not see the course listed within WebCT, be sure to contact your instructor. They will be able to add you to their course without the necessity of contacting ATW.


Faculty

Your WebCT ID and password will be emailed to you by the ATW department upon requesting a course using WebCT
