- Taught Chemical Literature for more than a decade.
- 1974 - conducted comprehensive coal oxidation electronic
literature search at Battelle Columbus Laboratories.
- 1977 - received individualized training in data base access
at University of Pittsburgh School of Library and Information
Science.
- 1978 - coordinated institution-wide orientation to electronic
information retrieval at Muskingum College.
- 1979 - provided information analysis on risk assessment of
chlorinated benzenes at Battelle for the EPA.
- 1981 - responsible for characterization of compounds whose
mass spectra were included in the EPA TSCA Data Base by Radian.
- 1986 - became conversant with Congressional Research Service
and other Library of Congress components as ACS Congressional
Fellow.
- 1993 - participated in Chautauqua short course on use of
Cooperative Learning Strategies in Science and Mathematics.
- 1994-Present - Project Director for UCAIR
