MORE THAN 300 GIFTS DONATED TO MEALS ON WHEELS CLIENTS

This year, the Texas Wesleyan community donated 312 gifts for the Meals on Wheels clients - about 100 more than last year's total. The presents are distributed in surrounding neighborhoods and are identified as gifts from the Texas Wesleyan University community. This is the fifth year that Texas Wesleyan has done a gift tree for Meals on Wheels clients. Thank you to all of the students, staff, and faculty who participated.

Meals On Wheels has been providing meals to elderly and disabled persons across the country for 54 years, and in Tarrant County since 1973. The meals and daily contact by caring volunteers and professional case management allow frail, homebound persons to remain in their own homes. Volunteers from Texas Wesleyan deliver meals to local residents throughout the year.
