MIRANDA RECEIVES FULBRIGHT AWARD FOR TRAVEL TO INDIA

Dr. Twyla Miranda, professor of education and director of graduate education programs at Texas Wesleyan, has received a Fulbright Award to attend the Teacher Education Administrators Program to India. The program, which will be held August 9-22, provides U.S. teacher education administrators with a first-hand knowledge of a cross-section of Indian higher education instutitions focused on teacher education and training. She will have the opportunity to meet in three cities—Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata—with individuals and programs that play a key role in the planning and administration of school education in India.
