IN THE NEWS: TEXAS WESLEYAN HELPS NEPALI MAN FULFILL DAD'S COLLEGE WISH

Channel 11, the local Dallas-Fort Worth CBS affiliate, followed up on the story of David Rai, whose father was killed in January while at work at the TL Food Store on Lancaster Avenue, near the Texas Wesleyan campus. Jas Bahadur Rai had dreamed of sending his son to college in the United States, and this fall, David will attend Texas Wesleyan, thanks to financial assistance from the University and Meadowbrook United Methodist Church.
