THE WICKED SIDE OF OZ FEATURES TEXAS WESLEYAN VOCALISTS Three Texas Wesleyan vocal students will perform with the Northeast Orchestra in The Wicked Side of Oz, a mini-musical featuring selections from Wicked and The Wizard of Oz. The performance will be at 8 p.m. Friday, March 30, at Colleyville Center, 5301 Riverwalk Drive, Colleyville. Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for students and seniors. The three Wesleyan students, Stephanie Darbo, Stephanie Kelly, and Andrea Talladino, performed in February at the President's Honors Concert at Texas Wesleyan. The President’s Honors Concert was initiated in 1996 by Texas Wesleyan University to showcase the musical talent of its students and to acknowledge the University’s tradition of leadership in the arts. Bryan English, assistant professor of music at Texas Wesleyan, is the music director and conductor of the Northeast Orchestra, and contributed in the arranging of The Wicked Side of Oz. The project is supported in part by the City of Colleyville, a grant from the Northeast Tarrant Arts Council and the Texas Commission of the Arts.
