Two Wesleyan Students are Named Gates Millennium Scholars
The Gates Millennium Scholars Program awarded scholarships to sophomore, Rebekah Y. Jordan and junior, Jose L. Ontiveros in December 2009. Currently, Rebekah is majoring in general business and Jose is majoring in biochemistry at Texas Wesleyan University. Congratulations to Jordan and Ontiveros!
The Gates Millennium Scholars Program has produced more than 13,000 scholars who have attended over 1,500 institutions of higher education. With the support of the GMS Leadership Development Program, a student can complete his or her postgraduate and graduate degree programs.
