Office of Admission Photo Shoot

camera The Office of Admission will host a two-day photo shoot on Tuesday, July 18, and Wednesday, July 19, for new recruiting brochures and would like to include members of the Wesleyan family. Participation for photos is needed in the following areas:

(1) 3rd and 4th grade children of faculty/staff.
(2) Current Wesleyan students who are children of faculty/staff.
(3) Student workers of faculty/staff.
(4) Faculty who have classes specifically in the areas of sciences, fine arts, education (junior/senior level) and business (junior/senior level).

Participants are needed for only 30 minutes to one hour at specific times each day. Please contact Denelle Rodriguez at (817) 531-5865 if you would like to participate.

Nurse Anesthetist Traineeships Grant Awarded
caducaeus Congratulations to John Martin and the Graduate Program of Nurse Anesthesia for their award of $51,050 from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for Nurse Anesthetist Traineeships. Traineeship funds are awarded only to full-time anesthetist students who have completed the first twelve months of study and can assist with payment of tuition and fees, books, and stipends.

Ricardo RodriguezProfessor Ricardo Rodriguez and the Chemistry Camp for Kids were featured in a Fort Worth Star-Telegram column June 18 written by Richard Gonzales. The three-week camp, which has nearly 90 participants this year, is designed to increase science skills and interest in students who are entering fourth, fifth or sixth grade.

     

 

Carlos MartinezEducation Dean Carlos Martinez was featured in the Dossier section of the Fort Worth Business Press in the June 19-25 edition. The column is a profile that includes personal likes and dislikes, business questions and education information.
