WESLEYAN SINGERS AND WESLEYAN CHAMBER SINGERS IN CONCERT
The Wesleyan Singers and The Wesleyan Chamber Singers will perform musical selections spanning 400 years, from the Renaissance to the 20th century, for their concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in Martin Hall.
Under the direction of Jerome Bierschenk, visiting assistant professor of music, and accompanied by Natalia Katyukova, these ensembles will perform various selections from the music of Giovanni Palestrina, Francis Poulenc, and Antonio Lotti, among others.
The highlight of the evening will be a performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cantata No. 150, during which special guest performers from the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will join the ensembles. The concert is free and open to the public. Martin Hall is located at 1309 Wesleyan St. on the Texas Wesleyan campus.
