Personal:

Ms. Myers was born in Dallas and has always lived in the Metroplex. However, she loves to travel, has visited several of Fort Worth's Sister Cities, and hosted about 25 exchange students from those cities and others. She is an avid theatre fan (even does a little acting now and then), loves most genres of music, reading biographies, and writing poetry and short plays.

She enjoys spending time with her three grown children: Michael (also a Wesleyan graduate), Christopher (a professional entertainer), and Rebecca (the musician in the family). For many years she has also been very involved in teaching Tarrant County refugees English and American culture and advocating for equal rights for LEP persons
