Freshman Academic Scholarships

At the time of admission you are offered academic scholarships based on your academic achievements, test scores, and /or other information provided to Texas Wesleyan.

Freshman scholarships may be renewed up to eight semesters if students enroll full time and maintain the required grade point average. 

 

 

Eunice & James L. West Scholarship (Full tuition and fees)
U.S. citizenship required, business major preferred
Minimum 3.8 GPA and SAT 1200 or ACT 27
Must complete admission before Feb. 15, 2008

Ella C. McFadden Scholarship (Up to one half tuition)
Minimum 3.8 GPA and SAT 1200 or ACT 27
Must complete admission before Feb. 15, 2008

Valedictorian/Salutatorian Award (Up to full tuition)

Student must have be recognized as Valedictorian/Salutatorian of graduating class of the preceding academic year from public/private high school.  Must submit complete admission before Feb. 15, 2008

SPEAK UP Scholarship (Full tuition and fees)

Must have completed grades 6-8th at William James Middle School, grades 9-12 and graduated from Polytechnic Heights High School with a 3.0 grade point average. 

Must complete admission before Mar. 15, 2008

President's Scholarship        (Up to $9,000)
Minimum 3.8 GPA and SAT 1200 or ACT 27
Must submit complete admission file before Feb 15, 2008

Dean's Scholarship                (Up to $7000)
Minimum 3.5 GPA and SAT 1100 or ACT 24

University Scholarship        (Up to $6,000)
Minimum 3.0 GPA and SAT 1000 or ACT 21

Ram Award                             (Up to $2000)
Minimum 2.75 GPA
